Fort Worth Mayor Recognizes "Workforce Ready" EMS ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Students

EMS ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ is proud to announce that 11 outstanding students were recognized at the Fort Worth Mayor’s Celebration for Workforce Ready Graduates on Thursday, April 25a teenage boy, four teenage girls, a woman and a costume cow in front of purple and gold balloons at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex. 
 
Students were selected for this recognition based on specific criteria, developed by the Mayor’s Council on Workforce Readiness, including academic achievement, participation in a practicum, internship or apprenticeship programs and pursuing/completing an industry-based certification. 
 
The 2024 Where Achievement Begins event was led by Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker.
 
EMS ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, a leader in Career & Technical Education (CTE), features the Hollenstein Career & ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Center (HCTC), preparing students for careers in 13 different pathways through practicum and work-based learning. These programs prepare today's youth for the demands of the global economy of the future by engaging students in their educational journey.  HCTC partners with local business and industry leaders to support students in their commitment to post-secondary success.
